The Latest

It has been a while since I have updated this and there are some things that need to be known. I have been working with some great people in New Jersey, P.A.S.T. I recently had a visit there where it was learned that some of my bile ducts were closed off, not obstructed, closed. At this time it is recommended that I get a new liver. I had a meeting with a specialist at the transplant center at NYU. Gave them 17 tubes of blood for all my pre transplant list testing, blood type, etc. Now I will be traveling to New Jersey again to have my follow up appointment with the guy at NYU. I am wondering what will come out of it. Definitely on my mind that if it comes to them saying I do need a transplant soon, what will I do? I will surely update here with the outcome of the meeting. In the meantime, staying focused on what is important...namely me. Keep you posted!
